Installation & Important Warnings

This DC-powered version is designed for an ignition setup with the required DC power feed. It is not a replacement for a visually similar GY6 AC CDI. This specific product is the DC version only. The supplied GY6 terminal-side diagram illustrates a connector position shared by different AC and DC ignition configurations. For this DC CDI, terminal 6 requires battery +12V DC, not the stator AC exciter output. The reference identifies terminal 1 as pickup/trigger signal, terminal 2 as ignition coil output, terminals 3 and 4 as grounds, and terminal 5 as kill switch/engine stop. Connect both grounds according to the product wiring reference, and verify your vehicle's actual harness orientation and pin assignments.
