Adjustable digital ignition for compatible 4-pin DC systems. The MOREV 9-Curve CDI Box is an aftermarket ignition control module intended for selected 50cc–125cc four-stroke horizontal engines with a CD110-style 4-pin DC CDI configuration. It gives riders and technicians a choice of nine predefined ignition timing maps without having to replace the CDI each time they want to evaluate a different setting.

What the 9 Ignition Curves Do

Ignition timing controls when the spark occurs during the engine cycle. Different timing maps change how ignition advance develops across engine operating conditions, which can affect throttle feel and power delivery. This unit provides nine selectable curves, numbered 1–9. Based on the MOREV curve guide, settings toward Curve 1 emphasize later-range delivery, while settings toward Curve 9 emphasize earlier response. The best choice depends on engine setup, fuel, load and riding conditions; no specific horsepower increase is guaranteed.

Installation & Safety

Never assume that the same connector means the same electrical configuration. AC and DC ignition modules are not interchangeable. Verify wiring, ground, pickup signal, ignition coil compatibility and original CDI type before installation. The supplied MOREV wiring reference shows the 4-pin DC plug from the terminal side, with position 1 for pickup/trigger signal, position 2 for ignition coil output, position 3 for ground and position 4 for battery +12V input. Use this as a product-specific reference and verify connector orientation and your vehicle wiring before installation. Disconnect power before fitting the module. An incorrect connection can prevent starting or damage electrical parts. For uncertain applications, consult a qualified technician.
