Selectable ignition rev-limit control for compatible 4-pin DC systems. The MOREV 4-Pin DC DIP Switch CDI Box is designed for selected 50cc–125cc four-stroke horizontal engines using a compatible CD110-style 4-pin DC CDI. Its four-position DIP switch bank lets you select an electronic rev-limiter preset or a mode without the CDI's preset electronic rev restriction. Built for compatible ATV, pit bike, dirt bike and go-kart ignition systems; not for AC CDI systems.

Choose Rev-Limiter or No Preset Rev-Limit Mode

This adjustable DC CDI has four individual DIP switches. Switches 1–3 select among eight preset limiter configurations according to the printed chart on the CDI housing. Switch 4 selects the operating mode: the chart identifies the upper position as speed-limit mode; use the corresponding alternate position for no preset rev-limit mode. The selected preset controls the CDI's ignition-based rev limiting behavior. Follow the physical switch chart supplied with the product, since switch position combinations must match the intended setting.

No preset rev limit means the module's selectable limiter setting is not active. It does not override mechanical engine limits, make an engine safe at unlimited speed or guarantee greater top speed. Real-world behavior depends on the engine, load, ignition coil, pickup and supporting electrical components.

How to Configure the Four DIP Switches

1. Switch off the ignition and engine, and access the switch bank safely.
2. Check the printed MOREV DIP setting chart on the CDI housing.
3. Set switches 1, 2 and 3 to the desired preset combination.
4. Set switch 4 to choose either limited or no preset rev-limit mode.
5. Double-check the switch positions, restore the installation and test the vehicle only in a safe controlled setting.

This product is a DIP-switch adjustable rev-limiter CDI, not the MOREV digital 9-curve timing CDI. DIP limiter presets should not be described as nine selectable ignition advance curves.

Compatible Engines and Vehicles

Designed for selected 50cc, 70cc, 90cc, 110cc and 125cc four-stroke horizontal engines equipped with a matching 4-pin DC CDI ignition system, often associated with CD110-style applications. Possible vehicle categories include ATVs, dirt bikes, pit bikes and go-karts. Some TaoTao, Roketa, SunL and Coolster models use related layouts, but brand, displacement and matching plug shape alone do not establish fitment.

Before ordering: confirm that your original CDI uses battery-fed DC ignition, a 4-pin connector with the same locking tab direction, and identical wiring positions. A 4-pin DC CDI is not interchangeable with a 5-pin AC or 6-pin AC/DC CDI, even if the vehicle's engine size is similar.

4-Pin DC Wiring and Safety

The supplied terminal-side view shows the connector with the locking tab at the top: terminal 1 = pickup/trigger signal; terminal 2 = ignition coil output; terminal 3 = ground; and terminal 4 = battery +12V DC input. This pin reference is intended for the MOREV 4-pin DC product only; confirm the actual harness orientation and wire connections before installation.

Important: This CDI requires a compatible DC ignition supply. Do not connect an AC stator exciter supply or connect incompatible AC and DC circuits together. Incorrect wiring can cause ignition malfunction, a no-start condition or electrical damage. Disconnect power before installing the unit, and consult a qualified technician if you are unsure of compatibility.
