MOREV CG 6-Pin DC No Rev Limit Racing CDI is designed for select CG-series 125cc–250cc four-stroke vertical engines using a compatible 6-pin (4+2) DC-powered ignition system. This non-adjustable ignition module uses a built-in advancing ignition-timing profile, not a fixed-angle setting, and does not include a programmed rev-limit cutoff.

Product Features

  • No programmed rev-limit cutoff: The CDI does not impose a selectable speed cutoff. Actual achievable engine speed depends on engine condition, mechanical limits and supporting components.
  • Preset advancing ignition timing: A preconfigured ignition profile with no user-adjustable curves, DIP switches or external programming.
  • CG 6-pin (4+2) DC connection: Intended for compatible battery-powered 12V DC ignition systems. Not interchangeable with an AC CDI even if the connectors look alike.
  • Finned aluminum housing: Approximate dimensions 100 × 54 × 31 mm (3.94 × 2.13 × 1.22 in). Compare with the original unit and mounting clearance.

Vehicle and Engine Compatibility

Designed for select CG 125cc, 150cc, 200cc and 250cc 4-stroke vertical engines equipped with a matching 6-pin (4+2) DC CDI ignition system. Possible applications include select 156FMI, 162FMJ and 163FML engine families and certain dirt bikes, ATVs or go-karts sold under TaoTao, Roketa, SunL and Coolster. Engine size, make and connector shape alone do not guarantee fitment.

Check Before Ordering

  1. Verify your original CDI is DC powered by battery +12V rather than AC powered by the stator exciter coil.
  2. Match the connector shape, pin layout and wiring to the provided CG 6-pin (4+2) reference images.
  3. Check module dimensions and installation space, and inspect the ignition coil, pickup and related components.

Important: The shared CG wiring guide illustrates AC and DC input conventions, but MCDI010 is DC only. Never connect both AC and DC power sources at once. Consult a qualified technician if ignition type or wiring is uncertain.
